Our Leaders Visit to the International Agricultural Research Station

These are the members of our farmers and women groups( mainly the leaders) who were chosen to visit an International agricultural research station in a near by city called Hyderabad. These institutions  for dryland agriculture are very rare. Father Policetti set up this field trip so that the leaders in the farming communities and the women group leaders would learn all they could about this type of farming that requires little water.  On this trip they were exposed to the  scientist’s developments of the first very special seed created by the dry crops program. When they came back from their visit they started sowing the dry crop seeds like lintels, which do not need much water, on one of our common farms.
