“It is such a great learning and inspiration for the self help group women to visit Germany. They never felt that they would go out of their houses without their husbands in tow, let alone go abroad. It is disbelief for them that they had gone to Germany and stayed there for one month. They came back and shared their experiences to the women around. They started the saving and deposits and ran income-gererating activities. They started a market/outlet where they sell the rice and paddy and other pulses grown in the fields. They maintain great quality and price it genuinely. Their main theme is to provide the food grown in the fields available to the farmers and people for consumption.”
