Creating Nurseries For Plant Sale Outlets

The women of Kethepally conducted their Cluster Level Cooperative meeting and discussed the issue of creating nurseries. The cluster level cooperative passed a resolution that the women of the cooperative supported creating nurseries of vegetables and fruits etc. It is a short duration project and a profitable activity. Most of the women of this cooperative depend on this activity for their support. It is their main livelihood. They grow different kinds of crops like onion, brinjal, chilly, tomato etc. The women’s cooperative purchases quality seeds from companies directly and then they supply them to the members. The women’s cooperative is also trying to acquire a marketing facility in their respective village. The women are venturing to cooperative marketing of their products.
